Roamlike is supported by Europe’s number one accelerator program
Roamlike was part of the third round of the Next Commerce Accelerator and completed the six-month acceleration program from October 2018.
In total, five startups from all over Europe have qualified for this round.
Through the NCA, the founders receive support in the development of digital and innovative e-commerce business models. In addition to an individual training and coaching program, the startups have premises available for use in Hamburg.
Roamlike regularly tries to move the workplace from Cologne to Hamburg, to maintain personal contact and to attend training courses. So far, Roamlike has already completed the workshops „Product Field“ and „Branding & Storytelling“.
The NCA offers participants up to € 50,000 in equity capital. In return, the NCA shareholders receive 3 – 10% company shares. As an added benefit, the startups get in touch with potential customers and business partners.
Thus, the startups have the opportunity to present themselves to large companies, such as Beiersdorf, within the six months, thus laying a possible foundation for future business relations.
The third round has some well-known investors, e.g. Edeka, Haspa, Tchibo and also Beiersdorf, who get to know new ideas and in the best case also new business partners by participating in the support program.
For example, Roamlike was already able to convince Beiersdorf with their pitch, which led to a collaboration and a very successful Nivea campaign.
The Accelerator Batch has has officially ended on 28.02. However, support from the Next Commerce Accelerator continues and Roamlike will continue to benefit from the large network in the future.
